In our VIVA playgroup , children ages 2.5 and up learn to play, craft, run, argue, make up, laugh, and sing together with their peers. They also learn to find their place within a group. Through rituals and regular table activities, the children improve their motor skills, learn to listen, and practice sitting down quietly in a playful, pressure-free way.
When the weather is nice, the children also spend their mornings outdoors. In our garden, they explore nature in a playful way, learn about the changing seasons and have the chance to climb, build sandcastles, hammer, experiment with water, jump, and play freely.
Attending our VIVA playgroup regularly helps children gently separate from their closest caregivers and eases their transition into the school system. Throughout this journey, they are lovingly supported by our experienced playgroup facilitators.

Live together, learn from each other and be there for each other!
I love working, playing, and crafting with children. It’s always wonderful to see the world through their eyes and learn from them.

Info
A tip from Familienzentrum to support your child’s language development: Strengthening language skills in young children The Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich aims to support the language development of children up to the age of four. To this end, it has launched short films and additional resources for parents and professionals focused on early language development. The videos are designed to inspire, encourage, and raise awareness. Thanks to their practical and visual approach, they can be used in many ways in parent counseling and education. Both the films and additional resources are freely accessible on the website Learning Opportunities for Children up to Age 4. To ensure sustainable impact, the initiative also includes various vocational training opportunities focused on early language development. BFS Winterthur.
